2892 is the King of all ETA movement calibers inside numerous top Swiss brands including Breitling, Girard Perregaux, IWC, Omega, Tag Heuer…….Used in numerous chronometers.

-The ETA 2892.A2 is widely considered the more upscale movement, and is always fitted with top quality components. It is regraded by many horologists as in the same 'quality' range (accuracy and relability) as the in house produced Rolex movements. The ETA 2892.A2 is usually found in the more expensive and prestigious watches, and is often COSC certified for Chronometer accuracy. Even without COSC certification, it generally performs with chronometer accuracy. Certina DS remains a legend from 1959 till today. NOS Certina is certainly a lovely treasure. This Certina DS is a full N.O.S. I was very surprised indeed when I first saw it! The case is bright and feckless as mirror. The bracelet is the quality ‘Butterfly-Clasp’ style. Everything of this watch is of high quality and finishing. A genuine handsome and wholesome Certina DS.
The lighting is too strong in the photos. Watch is much better for real eyes.

Rotor’s size is larger than usual. It’s the so-called ‘Large-Size Rotor’, with gorgeous Geneve stripe finishing.
Movement with gorgeous hammer finishing. Please see the photos. These finishing’s beauty are not honestly shown. Human eyes can see this craftsmanship much better. Impossible to see such high-grade movement with such finishing for Swiss watches selling for below US$1000- today.
