Voyager is one of Rado’s classic models. Never on wrist. Case back with 2 proofs showing its genuine N.O.S. status:
1. Mint blue wax (Veteran members should know the watch manufacturers’ practice of putting blue wax as protective layer on the case back from 1980s)
2. Original Rado matt computer label with serial number printed by dot-pin printer

Most other Swiss brands at that time only put blue wax on the case back but not such high-tech computer labels. Yes, RADO was very high-tech! Vintage N.O.S. collectors know what I mean.

100% original and intact. Running very accurately. Ticking very healthily. Day/Date working properly. Change day/date right on 24:00. Absolutely no scratch, wear or ding anywhere on mineral glass crystal, case, case back and the bracelet.

Screw case back. No scratch at all. Still with intact original protective blue wax from factory. With RADO’s matt computer label written “Swiss Made”. Serial number is “636 3596.4 063” printed by early dot-print computer printer. I do not have the case-opener and prefer not to open it to avoid any possible damage to the blue wax and the computer print-out sticker.

Old style baton. RADO states the batons are of fine ‘Simili Stone’ (Made by the Elves?) Top surface with vertical strips, every side surface is of glossy bright finishing.

Crown:
100 % original crown without anchor mark.
The crown is 100% original RADO type without the anchor mark. It is identical with the crown of the golden dialed Voyager I am seller. But that one has the anchor mark.
Information from RADO on its crown?
I have seen quite many NOS RADO from 1960s to 1980s. Quite many all original ones do not have the anchor mark on the crowns. I guessed this crown is original but without anchor mark. Checked with RADO Swiss Headquarter by email. Very glad to hear from RADO that this is correct. Email from RADO below:
“Please understand we guarantee availability of parts for 10 years after the last production date. Since your watches are more than 20 years, we are not producing parts anymore.
As for crown, we have two versions: with and without anchor.”
Thus I can say its crown is 100% original. But I know you may still prefer the crowns with anchor. This is possible. I have find suitable RADO crowns with anchor mark below. Please add Euro 6- for this crown.
