My apologies for not writing in German, understanding and reading German goes well, speaking also, but writing… Do answer in German, English or Dutch!
For sale from my personal collection is this amazing 100% original 1960’s Butex Super compressor featuring a ETA 2452 automatic movement from February 1968.
Butex was one of the brands next to BWC of the Buttes Watch Company, a Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 1924 in Buttes, Neuchâtel. Up until the seventies, they created a broad range of watches. Still existing today they are now part of a German company. Forgotten BWC Watches Offer Tons of Fun & Value for Vintage Fans

A Guide to Super Compressors - Worn & Wound
And see for yourself why Piquerez SA (EPSA) cased Super Compressor Dive watches are a must-have for every vintage watch collector.
The term “Super Compressor” is one that is quite often misused these days. Most people associate Super Compressor (SC) with any watch that has dual crowns and an internal rotating bezel, but it’s not that simple. Super Compressor is a trademarked name for specific case designs made by the case manufacturer Erwin Piquerez S.A. (EPSA). They designed a patented case sealing method that actually became more water tight the deeper the watch went. The deeper you went, the more pressure was applied to the case-back, pressing it against the O-ring gasket.
Most of the SC case-backs have a spring on them, so that the back was tight without being completely compressed against the case. With increasing water pressure, the back was pressed further against the case increasing water resistance. Another advantage of this configuration is that the O-ring did not have full pressure on it constantly, extending its life. Most SC watches were rated to a depth of 600ft.
The watch is in good condition, the acrylic highly domed crystal is scratch free, the stainless steel EPSA super compressor case has never been polished, and yes it has got some scratches but it’s edges are razor sharp and the case looks very fine for a watch 52 years old. Both crowns are cross hatched and in very good condition. The inner rotating bezel moves smoothly. Original slate grey sunburst dial has some patina and applied markers at 12, 3, 6 and 9, tritium indices. Original hours, minutes and center seconds hands.
Diameter without crowns is 36.5mm, 42.5mm length, 12.6mm thickness including the highly domed 3.4mm crystal, it wears bigger than the numbers suggest. Lug size is 19mm and the watch comes on a new 19mm tropical basketweave strap.
Service: The watch has been serviced May 2020 and runs well
€695 excluding shipping
